  • Michelle earned her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1999. She worked in public schools in Maryland and Massachusetts for 12 years providing therapy services to children with a wide variety of special needs. During that time she additionally took on the responsibility of being the Special Education Team Leader at one of the schools in Massachusetts where she helped write comprehensive IEPs for the students in that school district. After leaving Massachusetts, Michelle spent a few years being a full-time mom and is now excited to return to her first passion, helping children learn to use their motor skills to the best of their abilities. Michelle has taken many continuing education courses over the years, most recently she has learned some new techniques for treating Idiopathic Toe-Walking and took a course in Hippotherapy (a form of therapy that utilizes the horse and its movement as a treatment tool to achieve the individual patient's goals). In addition to working here, Michelle provides Hippotherapy at Chastain Horse Park.
